About Erangel
Erangel is where BGMI and PUBG Mobile started, and it is still the map most squads queue for. It is an 8×8 km island of farmland, forests and small towns, with a military base on a smaller island to the south, joined to the mainland by two bridges.
Because it mixes open ground with dense towns, every kind of weapon has a job here: sniper rifles and DMRs for the fields, assault rifles for the towns, SMGs and shotguns for the big compounds.
How it plays
Hot drops such as Pochinki, School, Georgopol and the Military Base fill up fast and decide a lot of early fights. Quieter villages give you time to loot, but you will usually need a vehicle to reach the zone.
The river and the two bridges to the military island are classic ambush points, so plan your route before the circle closes on the other side of the water.
