What is this BGMI name generator?
It's a free online tool that turns your name into 25 font styles, from small caps and bold to gothic and bubble letters, and puts symbols like ꧁ ꧂ and 乂 on either side. It shows ten at a time, and Generate gives you ten more. Leave your name empty and it picks one of our ready-made names for each instead. There are also 67 symbols in 9 groups and the invisible space for a gap or a blank name. There's nothing to install: the styles are Unicode characters, so you copy them here and paste them in BGMI.
We tested every style and symbol in BGMI's rename box before listing it. Names in Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Punjabi, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Odia and Urdu show correctly too. When a BGMI update breaks one, we test it again and note the change in the changelog at the end of this page.
How to change your name in BGMI
You need a Rename Card. You get one free for finishing the level 3 and level 10 Progress Missions, and some events give one too. You can also buy one in Shop, under Treasures. You can change your name once a day, and the card is used up when you do (source: BGMI Help Center).

In BGMI, open your Inventory. Under Cards, tap the Rename Card, then tap Use.

The Name Change box opens. Tap “Enter your new nickname”.

Is it allowed? Will my BGMI ID get banned?
Is a stylish name allowed in BGMI?
Yes. BGMI's Rules of Conduct don't stop you using fancy fonts or symbols. What they penalise is what a name says: a name that is sexually explicit or obscene, one that discriminates against people, or one that pretends to be Krafton or its staff. Every name on this page follows those rules.
Will my BGMI ID get banned for a stylish name?
Not for the style. A name is penalised for what it says, not for how it's written, so keep it clean and don't pretend to be Krafton or its staff. The full rules are in BGMI's Terms of Service, which include the Rules of Conduct.
Can I put a space in my BGMI name?
Yes. A normal space works, and so does the invisible space on this page. The blank name is the invisible space on its own, for a name that looks empty.
Can I write my name in Hindi or another Indian language?
Yes. We tested Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Punjabi, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Odia and Urdu in BGMI's rename box, and all of them showed correctly. Type your name in that language with your phone's keyboard, then paste it in BGMI.
Why does my name show as boxes?
A box means BGMI has no letter for that character on your phone. Every style here worked in our test, but a BGMI update can change that. Tap “Didn't work?” under that style and we'll test it again.
What happens to my old BGMI name?
BGMI keeps it for you for 48 hours after you change it: nobody else can take it, and you can change back to it in that time. Change your name again and only your latest old name is kept.
What if my name is already taken?
BGMI doesn't allow two players the same name. Add a symbol on either side, or try another style.
Names are for fun
Your name is what your squad, and every player you knock, sees. Make it yours, have fun with it and keep it clean. If a style stops working after an update, tell us and we'll fix the page.
