About the Muzzle Brake (SMG)
The SMG muzzle brake is one of the newer muzzle attachments, built — like any muzzle brake — to push back against recoil. Compare it with the SMG compensator on the gun you use.
Where to find it
Floor loot. Attachments lie next to guns and ammo in buildings, with the best odds in military areas and large compounds. The rarer ones also turn up in airdrop crates.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Built for recoil control
- Another SMG muzzle option
Cons
- No sound or flash reduction
- Newer attachment — availability varies by mode
