BGMI 4.6 Update: Vampire Mode, Kiaraa, One Punch Man

KRAFTON India has dropped the BGMI 4.6 update, and this one is packed - a vampire-themed mode, the return of an old fan favourite, a brand new India-first character, and a One Punch Man collab all land in the same season.

Midnight Hunters Brings Vampires To Erangel

The headline mode in BGMI 4.6 is Midnight Hunters. It runs on Erangel from September 16 to November 16.

• Four locations turn into Vampire Takeover points: Rozhok, Mylta, Quarry and Gatka.
• Stalber and Sosnovka Military Base now hold the Nightkeeper's Hunter Guild.
• There is an indoor arena with hidden secrets and fresh combat challenges.
• Squads can take up Guild Missions for special objectives and better rewards.
• Other points of interest include the Hunter Shooting Range, Clock Tower and Scream Crates.

Expect new threats in the form of Bloodwalkers, Nightbats, the Vampire Elder and the Nightkeeper.

The big twist is Bloodline Awakening. If you get eliminated, you can come back as a Vampire - up to 20 active Vampires can be in a match at once. Vampire abilities include Claw Strike, Absorb, Blood Sense and Blood Amberfication.

There are themed items too:

• Silvermoon Chain - helps with combat, movement and defense.
• Twilight Bat Wings - supports flight and enemy detection.
• Scarlet Tonic - speeds up recovery.
• Blood Pact - links teammates through persistent connections.

Ocean Odyssey Returns To Erangel

Ocean Odyssey comes back on September 30 after the community kept asking for it. The Ocean Palace, Trident and Kraken all return, so you can head back underwater and play through the experience again. So the season gives you two very different vibes - vampires above ground, Ocean Odyssey below it.

Kiaraa Is BGMI's New India-First Character

BGMI 4.6 adds Kiaraa, a new original character made by KRAFTON India's in-house art team for Indian players. She follows Anamika, BGMI's first original character IP created in India.

Kiaraa arrives on October 8 along with a Diwali-themed Indian Bazaar on Erangel. To awaken her, players need to activate four peacock-shaped lamps and then take on her Boss Battle. The season also includes Kiaraa Arena challenges.

The update also brings festive content, creator-focused features and new WOW experiences on top of all this.
