BGMI Gully Wars: Rs 10 Lakh Open Tournament Announced

Krafton India has announced BGMI Gully Wars, an open-for-all Battlegrounds Mobile India tournament with a Rs 10 lakh prize pool. The event is being organised in partnership with JioBLAST and carries the tagline "Apna Naam Bana".

No Experience Needed

Gully Wars has no entry barrier based on prior competitive experience, so any squad can sign up. The plan is to find players who are good but largely unknown - the kind who are only known within their own squads, college groups or local Discord servers and rarely get a proper shot at organised play. This tournament is pitched as that first step.

Key Dates

• Registrations close: October 6
• In-Game Qualifier: October 14 to 20
• Elimination rounds follow the qualifiers
• Grand Finals: final 16 teams

Dates for the later stages and the prize split have not been detailed yet.

4. Existing users can log in with their credentials or through OTP verification

Karan Pathak, Associate Director - Esports at Krafton India, said the tournament is aimed at the next generation of competitive players. "We look forward to seeing players from across the country step up, make their mark and, most importantly, make their name," he said.

For squads that have only tested themselves in custom rooms with friends so far, this is a straightforward way to see how they stack up nationally. The deadline to get in is October 6.
