Krafton India has pushed out its anti-cheat report for September 2026, and the numbers are massive. Over 4.5 lakh accounts faced action across BGMI last month, with cheaters spread across almost every rank.

The Big Numbers

Here's the full breakdown from the September report:

• Cheating-related accounts penalised: 452,454
• Match-crashing offenders penalised: 3,312
• Accounts penalised through the Cheater Review Program: 1,664
• Accounts penalised for inappropriate profiles or chat: 179
• Online cheating content removed: 301

Apart from the standard bans, 60,000 accounts were suspended for 10 years after Krafton detected unauthorised PAK file modifications and virtual machine (VM)-based cheating.

Which Ranks Had The Most Cheaters

Ace rank topped the list by a clear margin. Here's how cheating broke down by rank:

• Ace: 23%
• Crown: 19.8%
• Diamond: 13.7%
• Gold: 12.3%
• Platinum: 12.1%
• Bronze: 12%
• Silver: 6.2%
• Conqueror: 1%

What Else Is Happening In BGMI

Krafton also pointed players towards the BGMI 4.6 update, which brings the Midnight Hunters mode, a fresh Royale Pass, a Combat Arena, and a bunch of other new content. On the esports side, the invite-only Battlegrounds Mobile India Showdown (BMSD) 2026 has been announced with a ₹1 crore prize pool.
