BGMI Showdown Semi-Finals: Apex Steals Last Spot

Team Apex Gaming grabbed the final semi-final spot in the BGMI Showdown, and they did it the hard way. Going into the last match of the Upper Bracket Survival, Apex were sitting outside the top eight. One chicken dinner with ten finishes later, they were through on 111 points, just one point ahead of Vijay Esports on 110.

That wrapped up three days and 18 matches of the Upper Bracket Survival stage.

Nebula Esports Top the BGMI Showdown Upper Bracket Survival

Nebula Esports finished first with 178 points. The Aadi-led squad took five chicken dinners from 18 games, more than any other team, and added 119 finishes to their tally. Team Outrage were second on 165 points. They only won one match, but Omega's lineup racked up 123 finishes, the highest of the 16 teams in the stage.

Blue Army took third on 136. Learn From Past, who led after day one without a single win, ended fifth on 119 with still no chicken dinner. GodLike climbed to sixth on 115 after a stronger final day, and 4TR finished seventh on 113.

Orangutan End Their Chicken Dinner Drought

The defending champions had a rough start. Orangutan were 12th after day one and had gone a long time without a chicken dinner. That run ended in the last match of Friday on Miramar, and they followed it up by winning the first match on Saturday on Rondo. Two wins in a row lifted them to fourth on 127 points. It is a proper turnaround for a side that began the stage slowly, but the real test comes against the Group A teams in the semi-finals.

Vijay Esports Lead the Drop to the Lower Bracket

Vijay Esports finished ninth on 110 points, missing the direct semi-final berth by a single point. Instead of going straight through, they now have to survive the Lower Bracket. The eight sides dropping down are:

• Vijay Esports (110)
• IRIS (107)
• The Knight Mobs (105)
• Higg Boson (90)
• K9 Esports (86)
• HyperCatz (79)
• Madkings (74)
• Lastade (67)

Higg Boson were second after day one but faded badly to 12th.
