Krafton Announces BMSD 2026

Krafton India has announced the Battlegrounds Mobile India Showdown (BMSD) 2026, an invite-only BGMI esports tournament carrying a total prize pool of ₹1 crore. The event brings together 48 of India's top-performing teams, picked through the KIE Leaderboard, Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS), and Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS).

Format And Stages

The tournament is already underway with the Qualifiers, and then moves through:

1. Lower Bracket Survival
2. Upper Bracket Survival
3. Semi-Finals
4. Last Chance Qualifiers
5. LAN Grand Finals

The top teams from these stages will eventually advance to the LAN Grand Finals.

Grand Finals In Hyderabad

The LAN Grand Finals are scheduled from October 16 to 18 at Savaaya Convention in Gandipet, Hyderabad. The winning team will take home ₹30 lakh from the ₹1 crore pool.

Road To BMIC And Global Championship

Beyond the prize money, the top six teams from BMSD 2026 will qualify for the Battlegrounds Mobile India International Cup (BMIC) 2026, where they will face squads from Japan and South Korea. The best-performing Indian teams from there will go on to represent the country at the Global Championship 2026.
