PMPS 2026 Season 2 Kicks Off October 3 With 16 Teams
PMPS 2026 Season 2 starts October 3 with 16 teams chasing PMGC and BMIC slots plus a 40 million won prize pool. Finals run October 17-18 in Daejeon.
Krafton has locked in the schedule for PMPS 2026 Season 2, and the Mountain Dew PUBG Mobile Pro Series returns on October 3 with 16 domestic teams fighting for global slots and a 40 million won prize pool.
How the PMPS 2026 Season 2 Format Works
The tournament runs in two phases. The online Circuit Stage is spread over five days — October 3 and 4, then October 9 to 11. The top three teams from each Circuit Stage carry Benefit Points into the Finals.
The Finals then move offline to the Daejeon Esports Arena on October 17 and 18, where Final Points and Benefit Points are added together to decide the standings.
The 16-Team Lineup
The roster is built from three pools:
- 4 Partner Teams
- 7 regional teams from the Korean Esports League (KEL)
- Top 5 teams from the PUBG Mobile Open Challenge (PMOC)
What's at Stake: PMGC and BMIC Slots
This is where the PMGC qualification race gets serious. The winning team books its spot at the PUBG MOBILE Global Championship (PMGC), while five more teams earn a chance to compete at the BATTLEGROUND MOBILE INVITATION CUP (BMIC).
For a squad chasing international experience, that's six tickets out of one domestic run.
Prize Pool Breakdown
The 40 million won total is split like this:
- Champions: 25 million won
- Runners-up: 10 million won
- Third place: 5 million won
Mountain Dew Returns as Sponsor
Pepsi-Cola Korea's Mountain Dew brand is back as an official sponsor, marking the second straight year of collaboration with PMPS. Krafton is also running marketing support, including arena branding.
Daejeon Bread Festival Collaboration
The Finals coincide with Daejeon's local Bread Festival, and the event is teaming up with the city's mascot IP, Kumdori. PMPS interactive programmes will run at the festival venue alongside the competition.
