G2 x PUBG Mobile Dust II Map Event: Dates, Format
PUBG Mobile Dust II map arrives via the G2 x PUBG Mobile Community Challenge on Oct 24-25, 2026. Get the format, entry rules and registration details.
PUBG Mobile players are getting a slice of Counter-Strike nostalgia, as the PUBG Mobile Dust II map lands in a custom crossover event. The map is called PMG2, a PUBG Mobile arena inspired by Dust II, and it is built specifically for an amateur community showdown between G2 Esports and PUBG Mobile.
G2 x PUBG Mobile Community Challenge Dates And Format
The G2 x PUBG Mobile Community Challenge runs from October 24th to 25th, 2026.
Day one, Saturday October 24th, features two qualifiers:
- An afternoon block and an evening block
- Each qualifier hosts 32 teams in a best-of-one, single-elimination bracket
- That is 64 teams total across the day
- The top two teams from each qualifier advance
Day two, Sunday October 25th, brings the four surviving teams into another single-elimination bracket. Every match from the semifinals onward is a best-of-three. The semifinal winners clash in the Final, while the two losing semifinalists battle for third place.
PUBG Mobile 5v5 Bomb Defusal Mode, Not Battle Royale
The PMG2 map flips the usual PUBG Mobile formula on its head. Instead of a battle royale scramble, teams face off in 5v5 classic versus matches in a bomb-defusal mode, with a single life per player. If you go down, you are out for that round. It is a straight PUBG Mobile CS crossover move to pull Counter-Strike fans toward mobile esports.
Who Can Enter The PMG2 Map Tournament
Entry is strictly for amateurs. The rules are clear on who cannot play:
- Semi-pro and pro players are barred
- Anyone who played in the Group Stage of the 2026 PUBG MOBILE Club Open (PMCO) is also out
- Players must be at least 16 years old
- Players must be based in Western Europe
- Any mobile or tablet device that supports the game is allowed
- Teams need a minimum of four players, a maximum of five, plus one substitute
Registration opened on October 14th and closes on Friday, October 23rd. All coordination, match schedules and results run through the official G2 Discord server, so teams need to be in there before the qualifiers start. Prizes go to the teams that reach the Finals, ranging from gift cards to G2 merchandise.
This PUBG Mobile community tournament is the latest product of G2 Esports' ongoing partnership with PUBG Mobile, which both sides say is continuing. If you are new to the game and want to try it yourself, you can grab it from our PUBG MOBILE download page. Indian players eyeing BGMI can also check the BGMI download page.
If you are in Western Europe, 16 or older, and have a squad of four or five, the qualifiers are your easiest shot at a G2-backed tournament this month. Just get that registration in before the 23rd.
