PUBG MOBILE Global Open 2026: Teams, Prize Pool And Dates
32 teams have qualified through nine 2026 PMGO Regional Finals spread across Asia, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and the Americas.
- Prize pool: $500,000, plus a route to the 2026 PUBG MOBILE Global Championship (PMGC) in Istanbul, Turkey
- Event dates: October 20 to October 25
- Group Stage: Group A plays October 20, Group B plays October 21
- Survival Stage: October 22
- Grand Finals: October 24 and 25
- Each team plays six matches across Rondo, Erangel and Miramar
- The 32 sides are split into two groups of 16
The top six scorers in each group go straight to the Grand Finals. Teams placed 7th to 14th drop into the Survival Stage, where another six matches decide the last four Grand Finals spots. The bottom four teams are eliminated.
PMGO Season 2 TDM Tiebreaker And Survival Stage Format
This is the change most fans are talking about. Any tie on points that decides a qualification spot in the Group Stage or the Survival Stage will now be settled by a best-of-three 4v4 Team Deathmatch on Warehouse, a small close-quarters map.
Here is how each round works:
- First team to 15 eliminations takes the round
- If the timer runs out, the side with more eliminations wins
- If the round finishes level, the team that got the last elimination wins
So a spot in the Grand Finals can literally come down to who lands the final kill on Warehouse.
Match 13, Showmatch Bans And PMGC Istanbul 2026 Points
Day 2 of the Grand Finals gets a new addition. A themed-map showmatch will be played before Match 7, and the winner earns the right to ban one of three map options for Match 13.
Match 13 is a brand-new match designed to raise the chances of the title being decided by a WWCD, which is what we call winning a match by being the last team standing. It will only be played if nobody has already been crowned under the event's SMASH rules. In that case, the team leading after Match 12 picks between the two remaining map options.
The champion collects 150 PMGC points, which are accumulated across the 2026 PUBG MOBILE Esports circuit and decide which teams are guaranteed a place at the PMGC later this year.
According to the event release, the changes are meant to test how adaptable teams are while giving fans more ways for the title race to stay alive till the very last match.
