PUBG ComplexCon Los Angeles Debut With mgk's Floor 13
PUBG makes its US ComplexCon debut in Los Angeles on October 3-4 with a Floor 13 capsule collection from mgk, featuring tees, sweatshirts and hats.
PUBG is stepping off the screen and onto the show floor. The battle royale shooter is making its US ComplexCon debut in Los Angeles next month, and it is doing it with a capsule clothing collection built alongside Floor 13, the new creative studio from musician mgk.
ComplexCon runs on October 3rd and 4th at the Los Angeles Convention Center, and the collection will only be sold there during the festival. ComplexCon is a pop culture festival covering fashion, music, gaming and lifestyle, so the fit is a natural one for a game trying to live outside its own lobby.
What's In The PUBG ComplexCon Los Angeles Collection
The range includes T-shirts, sweatshirts and hats, among other items, and every piece carries imagery from the battle royale shooter where up to 100 players fight to be the last one standing.
- T-shirts
- Sweatshirts
- Hats
- More items in the full capsule
Krafton's Hyojung Lee, Head of PUBG IP Experience, called the collaboration a new chapter for PUBG, one that takes the game outside itself and into fashion and culture. Lee said ComplexCon is the perfect stage to bring this exclusive collection to a global audience, and added that it is the first of many new experiences planned to bring the game to life beyond the screen.
Why Floor 13 Built The Drop Around The Number 13
Floor 13 based the whole PUBG Floor 13 collection on the number 13 and the idea of luck. Studio Creative Director Jake Zottoli said thirteen has always carried the superstition of being unlucky, and that the phrase "Better Luck Next Time" felt like an idea that could resonate naturally with PUBG. He said the team liked flipping that superstition and treating luck as something you create rather than something you are given.

This Is PUBG's Second ComplexCon Appearance This Year
Los Angeles will not be PUBG's first ComplexCon. The game showed up at ComplexCon Hong Kong in March, where it linked with South Korean streetwear label Thug Club. That appearance was part of PUBG's ninth anniversary celebrations and ran at AsiaWorld-Expo on March 21st and 22nd.
The Thug Club drop offered clothing and themed items that gave the PUBG universe a streetwear twist. Krafton also put up a colosseum-inspired booth at the show, where visitors could take part in interactive activities and earn rewards through an on-site programme.
PUBG featured on the festival's main stage as well, with performances from producer and DJ R.Tee, beatboxer WING and Hiss. All three had worked with PUBG before. According to Krafton, the Hong Kong activation was part of its push to take PUBG's IP into wider cultural spaces, and the company said it had more planned along the same lines.
The PUBG x mgk merch angle should pull a fresh crowd, given mgk's own fanbase sits right where music and fashion already overlap. For Indian fans, the catch is simple: this one is US-only and event-exclusive, so unless you are in Los Angeles on October 3rd or 4th, there is no online drop to fall back on.
