PUBG Mobile Asian Games 2026: Indonesia Opens Campaign

The PUBG Mobile Asian Games 2026 event is officially underway in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, and Indonesia has begun its medal hunt. The Indonesian national squad hit the servers on Monday, September 28, 2026, at the Aichi Sky Expo in Tokoname, with the PUBG Mobile medal event running across just two days — September 28 and 29.

Twelve nations have qualified for the main round, and every single one of them is chasing gold, silver and bronze. This is a short, brutal format where there is no room for a slow start.

Asian Games 2026 PUBG Mobile Schedule

The competition is split into two grand final days, with six matches played each day for a total of 12 matches.

• Day 1 — Monday, September 28, 2026: six matches, starting around 07:00 WIB / 08:00 WITA
• Day 2 — Tuesday, September 29, 2026: six matches, starting around 07:00 WIB / 08:00 WITA
• Medal matches follow immediately after the final game of Day 2

Match timings can shift depending on how earlier games run and on organizer regulations, so keep an eye on the schedule if you are planning to watch live.

Map Pool and Points Format

Erangel does most of the heavy lifting here. The first four matches of each day are played on Erangel, while the last two of each day move to Miramar.

That means out of the 12 total matches, eight are on Erangel and four are on Miramar.

Points earned on Day 1 carry straight over into Day 2. All placement and elimination points pile up until the final match, and only then are the standings and medalists locked in. There is no reset, no second chance — one bad drop on Day 1 follows the team all the way to the medal ceremony.

Indonesia is one of the 12 teams that made it to the main round, and the squad landed in Japan off the back of a strong qualification run in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, where they finished second.

China, South Korea and Chinese Taipei booked their spots through their medal achievements at the Hangzhou Asian Games. Japan qualified as the host nation, while the remaining eight countries — Indonesia included — fought their way through the qualifiers.
