BGMI Showdown 2026 Grand Finals: SouL Win PMGC Ticket
Team SouL won the BGMI Showdown 2026 Grand Finals with 155 points, claiming ₹30 lakh and a PMGC 2026 spot. Full standings, prize money and awards.
Team SouL are the BGMI Showdown 2026 Grand Finals champions, closing out the event in Hyderabad on 18 October with 155 points across 18 matches. The final table shows SouL 14 points clear of Gladiators Esports on 141, with 8Bit just one point further back on 140. It is SouL's second trophy of the year after BGIS.
The margin hides how the title was won. SouL did not lead going into the last day. After Day 2 they were fourth on 88 points, 28 behind the leader, having scored 34 on Day 1 and 54 on Day 2 – the second-best Day 2 in the lobby behind Gladiators' 55.
How Day 3 Turned It Around
Day 3 flipped the script. SouL put up 67 points, the second-most that day alongside Version1 x Blue Army, behind Gladiators' 68. They got there on 45 finishes and were top of the standings within two matches of the day starting. Across the six matches of Day 3 they racked up more finishes than any other team. Gladiators matched them almost shot for shot, but the 28-point gap SouL carried into the day was cleared and then reversed, and the two Chicken Dinners SouL picked up over the Grand Finals proved enough.
On the Grand Finals stage, LeGIT recalled the clip where he had promised a PMGC slot, saying the words came from belief in himself and in his team. "I told everyone 958 before the event started," he said. "A lot of people thought I said it casually, that I made that commitment lightly. But I said it trusting myself, trusting you and trusting my team. I knew before the event started that we were winning. We just had to show you."
NakuL spoke about the stretch between the BGIS title at the start of the year and this one, when SouL failed to qualify for an international stage and took heavy criticism from fans. "This trophy is very close to my heart and I just don't know how to express the feelings," he said. "The last four, five months, the hits I took, the criticism I took, I was getting flashbacks while winning this trophy too. I think I've shut the mouths of everyone who was doubting me. That's all I'll say – I'm proud of my team."
Goblin was blunter. "A lot of people doubted us again," he said. "We proved everyone wrong again. We lifted a trophy again. We are finally going to internationals." After the win, the players were visibly emotional, and Payal Gaming could not hold back tears.
Goblin had called it on Day 1. A clip from the opening day had him talking about a SouL comeback and big points still to come. Asked how many points he expected, he said 60 should be doable – and SouL went past that with 67 on the final day. There was lighter material around the win too: a promise that a Chicken Dinner would earn a perfume as a gift, followed by SouL actually getting the dinner.
Mortal video-called the squad after the title, with Jonathan on the line greeting the players and telling them they had played well. Mortal was seen talking to Goblin on the call, and fans brought up the moment Mortal handed the flag over to Goblin.
BGMI Showdown Grand Finals Teams And The Full Field
Sixteen teams were in Hyderabad. Eight came through the semi-finals:
- Team Apex Gaming
- Nebula Esports
- Team Soul
- K9 Esports
- Blue Army
- GodLike Esports
- Team Outrage
- Gladiators Esports
Four more qualified straight from Group A of the qualifiers: Meta Ninza, Team 8Bit, Revenant XSpark and Blitz Epigrotive Gaming. The last four booked their spots through the Last Chance stage: Myth Official, Welt Esports, Genesis Esports and Wyld Fangs. The big name missing was Orangutan, last year's champions, who finished ninth in the Last Chance on 79 points and will play neither PMGC nor BMIC this year.
BGMI Showdown Prize Money And What's At Stake
There was ₹1 crore in the pool, with ₹30 lakh to the winner. The bigger prize was the ticket attached to first place: the champion goes to the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2026, while the top six all qualify for the BGMI International Cup (BMIC) 2026. Ten of the 16 teams left Hyderabad with neither. The BMIC race was tighter than the one at the top: Outrage and Welt held the last two spots on 85, with Myth Official just outside on 77. How The BGMI Showdown Match Point Rule Worked
The Grand Finals ran 18 matches over three days, six a day. The first two days were a straight points race. Day three is where the match point rule kicks in. After match 12, organisers take the leader's total and add 10 points. That target was 126. Any team that reached that figure became match-point eligible, and the first eligible team to win a match would be champion. If nobody pulled it off in the last six games, the title went to whoever had the most points after match 18. In the end, SouL's 155 points meant they were well past the threshold, and their two Chicken Dinners over the finals sealed the deal.
BGMI Showdown Where To Watch
The Grand Finals were streamed on the Krafton India Esports YouTube channel, with Hindi and English broadcasts. The event ran at the Savaaya Convention in Hyderabad through Sunday, 18 October.
