Alan Walker will perform at BMIC 2026 in Mumbai on October 30, the opening day of the Battlegrounds Mobile India International Cup. Krafton India announced the show on October 26, set up in partnership with ticketing platform District, and the set goes down at The Dome, SVP Indoor Stadium (NSCI), Worli. The tournament itself runs October 30 to November 1, 2026, with 16 teams from India, South Korea and Japan fighting for a ₹1 crore prize pool and two PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2026 slots. Krafton India is organising the live-audience LAN event with Tesseract Esports.

One thing to clear up: Krafton has named the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Indoor Stadium, which is the NSCI Dome in Mumbai, so the venue references match.

Alan Walker headlines opening day

Alan Walker is no stranger to this crowd. His track "Hero" was part of BGMI through the 2024 "Be A Hero" campaign, became lobby music and showed up in in-game events. Before that, he produced "On My Way", the official PUBG Mobile theme song in 2019, and tracks like Live Fast, FATE and Faden have featured in special events and themes. The PUBG Mobile x Alan Walker collabs also brought in-game skins across multiple events.

"India, I'm coming home! The love I've received from BGMI players since 'Hero' became part of the game has been incredible, and I'm excited to perform for this community in person. BMIC 2026 brings together two things I'm passionate about - gaming and music - and I can't wait to be part of it. Bring your squad, and let's make some noise," Walker said.

Karan Pathak, Associate Director of Esports at Krafton India, said the performance would take that earlier association from inside the game to a live event. Earlier leaks and reports had already tipped the set before Krafton made it official. The Walker show runs on day one, while the competition carries on across all three days.

PMGC 2026 slots: two up for grabs

Two slots for the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2026 in Türkiye are at stake in Mumbai. The champion goes straight to the Gauntlet Stage, while the runner-up enters the Group Stage.

Team Soul, NS RedForce and Valor have already secured their PMGC 2026 berths through regional wins. The top two at BMIC 2026 will also book spots, and if a team that already has a place finishes in the top two, its BMIC spot is expected to pass to the next eligible team, which should apply to Soul, NS RedForce and Valor alike. Indian teams therefore have a realistic path to as many as three PMGC spots across BMSD and BMIC.

BGMI International Cup 2026 teams

Six Indian squads made it through the BGMI Showdown 2026, which wrapped on October 18:

  • Team Soul (iQOO SouL) - BMSD 2026 champion, 155 points (Nakul, Goblin, Legit, Joker, Thunder)
  • Gladiators Esports - runner-up, 141 points (Neyo, Justin, Aquanox, Destro, DeltaPG)
  • 8Bit (iQOO 8Bit) - third, 140 points (Juicy, Sarang, Skipz, Shubh, Shorty)
  • K9 Esports - fourth, 135 points (Saumraj, SnowJod, Taurus, Smoker, Stranger)
  • Blitz Gaming (Blitz Epigrotive Gaming) - fifth, 133 points (Areeb, Eggy, Lobster, FanOP, Ralphie)
  • Team Outrage (Outrage Esports) - sixth, 123 points (Omegaa, Knight, Slug, NinjaBoi, Amit)

South Korea sends five:

  • NS RedForce - KEL 2026 winner (XZY, TIZI, DokC, HyunBin, Soez)
  • Dplus KIA - KEL 2026 runner-up (Favian, Nolbu, Chpz, Cyxae, Porico)
  • DRX - PMPS 2026 qualifier, defending BMIC champions
  • FOCUS - PMPS 2026 qualifier
  • GAME PT - PMPS 2026 qualifier

Japan completes the 16-team lobby with five squads, though Krafton has not named them yet. There is also no match-by-match schedule out yet; only the October 30 to November 1 window is confirmed.

Tickets and venue

Tickets are on sale through District, per Krafton's announcement. District's Mumbai listings start at ₹499, with availability and seating options depending on the booking picked.

The venue is indoors and air-conditioned and seating is pre-assigned. District states that every attendee needs a ticket, whatever their age. Food and drinks can be bought at the venue, and paid parking is among the listed facilities.

For the bracket and results once play starts, keep an eye on the BMIC 2026 points table, schedule and results.
