Vasista Esports disbands as Hector ends two-year run

Vasista Esports has officially bid farewell to its BGMI lineup, thanking Hector, Beast, Rony, Aimbot and Dionysus in a post on its verified Instagram account. The announcement marks the end of the five players' chapter with the organization, with Hector confirming his two-year journey with the team is over. Vasista has not declared that the organization itself is shutting down.

Hector's message

In his own note, Hector said the run with Vasista Esports was a good journey and thanked Sandeep, whom he called the owner and father figure, saying Sandeep always kept the players like family. Hector also said he could not win an official trophy with the team. He thanked the owner as he closed out his time at the org.

In the Instagram post, Vasista Esports said not every goodbye comes with the right words, but memories and gratitude remain. The org thanked all five players, acknowledged that they may now move in different directions, and said their shared moments will retain their value.

Where Vasista stood at BMSD 2026

Vasista Esports' last big run came at BMSD 2026, held in Hyderabad from 22 September to 18 October 2026, where the team featured in the Last Chance stage. The side finished 7th there with 83 points, 7 behind the team above.

Vasista's tournament was built on Day 2. After Day 1 the team sat 11th on 24 points, 46 behind the leader, having scored 24 that day with 21 finishes. On Day 2, Vasista put up 59 points, the most that day, with 40 finishes, and climbed to 7th, 36 behind the leader. The team ended the stage with 61 finishes, 22 placement points and one Chicken Dinner.

That last-day surge was not enough to take Vasista through, and the org now heads into the off-season without its long-serving player. For players watching the market, Vasista is the first name on the list of rosters breaking up ahead of the next cycle.

Ahead of the next cycle, other teams have also seen movement. Hug Bosson's Snow, Jord and Omega departed after the qualification race, while Mad Kings' S1MP left on 14 October and Lastade Esports' Kaalan left with ShaDow retiring. Orangutan's Smoker was reported to be returning following a livestream.

Vasista Esports is an Indian esports organization best known for its BGMI roster. Third-party esports databases record historical Free Fire MAX participation, and one lists a Honor of Kings division, but the organization's current activity across other games could not be independently confirmed. It is owned by Sandeep Vasista, and its verified Instagram account, @vasista_esports, is its official channel.
