Outrage qualify BMIC by one point after BMSD

Outrage qualified for BMIC by one point after finishing sixth at BMSD 2026. Amit, Dynamo, Robin, Destro and VisGod react to the final day.

Outrage Esports players celebrate qualifying for BMIC by one point after BMSD 2026 Grand Finals

Outrage Esports have qualified for BMIC by a single point, and the team's Amit did not pretend it was a clean run. In the BMSD 2026 Grand Finals, Outrage finished sixth on 123 points, ten behind the team above them.

Amit said the team played very badly across matches and that qualification came partly because another team made a big mistake in the final match, which gave Outrage the chance they needed. His own words were that missing BMIC after doing so much would have hurt badly.

BMIC is the BGMI International Cup 2026, also expanded in some coverage as the Battlegrounds Mobile India International Cup. KRAFTON India organises it, and it runs from 30 October to 1 November 2026 at The Dome, SVP Indoor Stadium, Mumbai, with a prize pool of ₹1 crore. Sixteen teams play: six from India, five from South Korea and five from Japan. The Indian qualifiers are Team SouL, Gladiators Esports, 8Bit, K9 Esports, Blitz Epigrotive Gaming and Outrage Esports.

8Bit's near miss and Dynamo's reaction

8Bit were in the hunt for the BMSD 2026 title and finished third on 140 points, one behind Gladiators Esports and 15 behind champions iQOO SOUL. Dynamo Gaming said watching 8Bit missing the trophy hurt, and singled out their failure to use the recall in one of the day's maps — asking why they were not jumping when they had the recall and why they were not taking points. He also noted that 8Bit had been the most consistent team until then, and said the trophy had arrived anyway.

Gladiators' joke after missing the golden chance

Gladiators Esports, the defending champions, had a shot at the title in the last game but fell short, finishing second on 141 points. Robin and Destro responded to the missed chance with a back-and-forth about heading back to Mumbai, where it all started, and about winning the next time — "we have to win." Robin said they had won twice before and it had happened twice already.

VisGod on Orangutan and Team SouL

VisGod spoke about possible line-up changes at Orangutan and about Team SouL. He said he was disappointed and did not even feel like going home, but praised NakuL and his three teammates for playing well and for their approach. He said SouL are the best in India right now and that he never thought about changing the line-up and will not. He also mentioned that the trade window is expected to open as soon as BMIC ends, though he was not sure of the time.

The transfer window is KRAFTON India's structured system governing player movement between esports clubs in the BGMI competitive ecosystem, meant to bring stability, accountability and transparency to roster changes.
