KRAFTON India Esports College Campus Tour 2026 Returns Bigger

KRAFTON India has gone twice as big with its KRAFTON India Esports College Campus Tour 2026, now in its third season. The college esports circuit began on October 10, 2026, from IIT Kharagpur and IIT Varanasi and will run through March 2027, covering 256 colleges — exactly double the 128 campuses that hosted last season. That earlier edition drew over 75,000 students, and with the same push landing on twice as many campuses, expect that number to swell again.

BGMI college tournament spreads across four zones

The KRAFTON campus tour 256 colleges figure breaks down into four zones, with 64 colleges each:

• North
• South
• East
• West

BGMI and Real Cricket tournaments will be held at each campus, run in collaboration with Nodwin Gaming and Upthrust Esports. The events are lined up with college festivals so students can sign up without wrecking their fest schedules, and college festival committees manage the on-ground action with help from the organisers. KRAFTON India funds the prize pool. This mix means there is a proper stage for students who prefer bat on ball too, not just battle royale players.

The road from campus to College Campus Championship

This BGMI college esports India push is not a one-off campus clash. The route runs through four clear steps:

1. College-level tournaments across all 256 campuses
2. Zonal matches for the winners from each college
3. Grand Finals for the teams that survive the zones
4. College Campus Championship, where 16 teams fight it out

The winning squad earns a direct invitation to the invited stage of KRAFTON India's official tournaments in 2027 — a real pathway for college players eyeing the pro scene rather than just a campus trophy. Last year, the champions Gods Omen from Rishihood University, Sonipat, took home ₹2 lakh in prize money, showing there is serious reward at the end of the campus run.

Karan Pathak, Associate Director – Esports at KRAFTON India, said the response last year showed how much college students want competitive gaming, and that the plan this year is to reach more campuses so more students can compete from their own campuses and the strongest teams get a route to the next level.
