Mavi Harman BGMI Comeback: Moves to Mumbai For Fresh Start

Mavi has announced his BGMI comeback, saying he has shifted to Mumbai to restart his career. In a video titled "Shifted To Mumbai In Our New House," published on 17 October 2026, he said the move marks the start of a new journey — his YouTube journey and his content journey — and that everything begins from Mumbai. The video description reads "MAVI 2.0 begins here" and describes a fresh start as a content creator after his move from Punjab to Mumbai.

What Mavi said

Mavi framed the move simply: he called it "a small home for the big-hearted", and said his new journey starts here. He also said he will be restarting everything — his career included — from this point.

He says he plans to reconnect with viewers on stream from his new home in Mumbai.

Why a Mumbai shift matters

Mavi says he moved from Punjab to Mumbai to begin his next chapter as a content creator, and describes the place as a new rented home. He has not tied the move to a bootcamp, a content studio or a team base. For now it is a relocation, not a signing: he has not announced a new team or a trial, and his earlier stint as a creator with S8UL is not a new competitive signing. Nothing in his announcement confirms a competitive BGMI comeback, and no tournament or organisation announcement establishes his return to professional play.

His last recorded competitive team was Global Esports, with his stint ending on October 8, 2024. His results list a second place at BGIS 2024 on June 30, 2024, and a showmatch appearance at Freedom Face-Off on August 17, 2024.

That leaves his comeback open to two readings — a return to competitive BGMI or a push on content. His own announcement leans on the content side, calling it his YouTube journey and his content journey, though he also said he is restarting his career.
