BGMI 4.6 Update: Midnight Hunters And Kiaraa Are Here

What's New In BGMI 4.6

The BGMI 4.6 update has rolled out, and this one is packed with supernatural action, returning fan-favourites and a big India-first addition. The new season goes live on September 16 and will keep dropping fresh content and events all the way through November.

Midnight Hunters Takes Over Erangel

The headline mode this season is Midnight Hunters, a supernatural theme experience running from September 16 to November 16. Erangel gets a dark makeover, with several locations turning into hotspots:

• Vampire Takeover points: Rozhok, Mylta, Quarry and Gatka
• Nightkeeper's Hunter Guild: Stalber and Sosnovka Military Base, which now features an indoor combat arena with challenges and hidden areas

There's plenty to do inside the mode, including Guild Missions, a Hunter Shooting Range, the Clock Tower and Scream Crates. You'll also run into Bloodwalkers, Nightbats, the Vampire Elder and the Nightkeeper during matches.

The standout mechanic is Bloodline Awakening. Eliminated players can come back as Vampires, and up to 20 Vampires can be active at the same time. They get abilities like Claw Strike, Absorb, Blood Sense and Blood Amberfication.

Themed items are also part of the mode, with the Silvermoon Chain, Twilight Bat Wings, Scarlet Tonic and Blood Pact offering different combat, movement, recovery and team-based functions.

Ocean Odyssey Returns To Erangel

Ocean Odyssey makes its comeback on September 30. The experience brings back the Ocean Palace, Trident, Kraken and the underwater exploration that players enjoyed in its earlier BGMI run. Since it runs alongside Midnight Hunters, you'll have two completely different themed experiences to jump between this season.

Kiaraa Brings India-First Diwali Content

BGMI 4.6 also introduces Kiaraa, an original in-game character IP created by KRAFTON India's in-house art team in India specifically for Indian players. She joins the game from October 8.

Her content is built around a Diwali-themed Indian Bazaar on Erangel, where players can activate four peacock-shaped lamps at the location to awaken Kiaraa.
