Team Pride Clinch PMNC Nigeria 2026 Fall Finals Title

Team Pride Crowned PMNC Nigeria 2026 Fall Finals Champions

Team Pride have emerged as the winners of the PUBG Mobile National Championship (PMNC) Nigeria 2026 Fall Finals, sealing the title on September 13. The event took place at the University of Lagos Indoor Sports Complex and featured 16 of Nigeria's finest PUBG Mobile squads battling for national supremacy and a slice of the prize pool.

The squad walked away with the $3,000 top prize and a coveted spot at the PUBG MOBILE Global Open (PMGO) Africa stage. They bested Neon Outlaws, who finished as runners-up, and Tribe Warriors, who claimed third place.

Team Pride's Victorious Roster

The four players who lifted the trophy:

  • Oluwadamilola "Begho" Oladele
  • Kwila Obadiah
  • Maude "Chico" Usman
  • Farid "Finish" Mahri

Begho was named the tournament MVP for his standout performance. The PMGO Africa slot means this roster will now carry Nigeria's hopes on the continental stage.

Infinix GT 50 Pro Headlines Sponsorships

Infinix served as the Official Gaming Partner for the PMNC Nigeria 2026 Fall Finals, using the event to launch its new GT 50 Pro gaming flagship. The device is built for players who demand sustained performance, precise controls, and an immersive experience.

Oluwayemisi Ode, PR Manager at Infinix Nigeria, said the PMNC Finals brought together exactly the community the GT 50 Pro was designed for, emphasising that competitive gaming requires consistency, responsiveness, and performance under pressure.

Nosa Stephen Ekaghe from Infinix also commented on the partnership, stating that the sponsorship reflects the brand's commitment to supporting gaming and the needs of players.

HydroFlow Liquid Cooling Steals the Show

The GT 50 Pro's standout feature is its HydroFlow Liquid Cooling Architecture, which Infinix claims is the industry's largest active micro-pump system of its kind. It uses micro-pump liquid cooling to actively dissipate heat from critical components and maintain stable performance during long gaming sessions.

For competitive players, effective heat management is crucial—it determines whether the phone can sustain peak performance in clutch moments or starts dropping frames as temperatures rise. The cooling setup is engineered to help maintain high frame rates, smooth gameplay, and reliable responsiveness even during extended, intensive gaming.

Other Sponsors and Contributions

The finals also received support from Oraimo and itel. Oraimo provided gaming accessories for the event, with Content Creation Manager Bella Ibrahim reaffirming the company's commitment to backing gamers with products that fit their lifestyle. itel contributed to the champions' rewards, with ATL Marketing Manager David Chuks Obikwame presenting air conditioners to Team Pride in recognition of their victory.

Version 4.6 Update Runs Alongside Finals

PUBG Mobile rolled out its Version 4.6 update alongside the finals, introducing the Vampire Hunters theme and an Afro-pop collaboration with Nigerian artist Magixx under the Be the one campaign. From September 24 to October 23, players can participate in the in-game Unlock Magixx Style event to earn exclusive rewards:

  • A custom Avatar Frame
  • Voice Pack
  • Lobby Music
  • Themed outfits

PUBG Mobile Version 4.6 is now live as a free download on both iOS and Android, giving players a full month to claim the Magixx rewards.
